Saram Fayyaz

Saram Fayyaz is an undergraduate student of International Relations at Ankara University. Born and raised in Pakistan, he has lived across Turkey, France, Switzerland, and now Belgium as part of his academic journey. He completed an Erasmus+ exchange semester at Sciences Po Grenoble, where he deepened his understanding of European governance and regional dynamics. He previously gained research experience through an internship at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the Permanent Mission of Pakistan, where he participated in sessions of the Human Rights Council and the International Labour Organization.

During his time at EIAS, Saram aims to further explore EU-Asia relations, with a particular focus on EU-South Asia relations and trade cooperation. His broader research interests include international trade and development, human rights, and international security. He is fluent in English, Turkish, and Urdu, and is currently learning French.
