Rania Mrini

Ms Rania Mrini is a French citizen, currently enrolled in the second year of the Master’s degree in East Asian Economy and Societies at the University of Vienna in Austria. During her studies she has spent a semester of exchange at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, studying international politics, strategic culture and Chinese diplomacy. Before enrolling in her Master’s degree in Asian Studies, she studied law at the University of Paris Est Créteil, which included an Erasmus Exchange at the Leibniz Universität in Hannover, Germany.

Her research focuses on China, geopolitcs and security, with a specific interest in Chinese state discourse and territorial claims in East Asia.
