Mi Jung IM

Mi Jung IM is a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Planning at Seoul National University, South Korea. Within her doctoral studies, her main research interests are sustainable development and climate resilience in Southeast Asia. Before joining the European Institute of Asian Studies as a visiting fellow, she worked at the Mekong Institute located in Thailand and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. Throughout her research stay at EIAS as a Visiting Fellow she aims to expand her understanding of the EU Green Deal and Korean New Deal and to explore how such policies can be applied to Southeast Asia (ASEAN). She is also interested in research on the impact of green finance on companies’ green management in the EU and South Korea.
