Colette Gautier is a recent graduate from the National University of Singapore where she majored in Political Science and History. She is French and Singaporean, and lived across the Netherlands, France, China, Singapore, Taiwan, the UK, and now Belgium. During her studies she focused on the history of East and Southeast Asia, the political and economic development within these regions, and EU-Asia relationships. As part of the bachelor’s program, she spent at semester at the National Taiwan University where she deepened her knowledge of China-Taiwan relations and improved her mandarin Chinese. During her time at EIAS, she aims to further expend her understanding of this region while researching on how EU and Asia can collaborate on the topic of healthcare.
