Yan Rong Chang is a recent graduate from National Taiwan University, with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Throughout her studies, she has been passionate about international law, and international trade law and investment law in particular. During her undergraduate studies she was a Research Assistant, synthesizing case studies on international investment and arbitration law, organizing different scholars’ arguments on related cases. Following her previous research experience, Yan Rong Chang is starting her Master’s degree in International Law and Economics at the World Trade Institute in Switzerland in September 2021. As a junior researcher at EIAS, her research will mainly focus on the interconnection between politics and trade, as well as EU-Taiwan trade relations.
