Virginia Segara

Virginia Segara is a master’s degree student of International Political Economy at the University of Groningen. Upon obtaining her bachelor’s degree in international relations from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in 2016, she worked as a corporate banking relationship manager in one of Japan’s largest multinational banks where she handled corporate banking relations for foreign-owned businesses in Indonesia. This fostered her interest in policymaking processes and regulation analysis, leading to her role as a public policy analyst in a government relations firm where she specialized in financial services and the ICT industry in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Her areas of focus include EU-ASEAN trade and investment relations, connectivity, and digital economy.
