Piet Kuhlmann is a Junior Researcher currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and Global Governance at the Brussels School of Governance. Having spent time studying in Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Boston, and Brussels, his interdisciplinary academic background spans studies in International Relations, Economics, Security, Public Diplomacy, and Geopolitics and Security in Asia.
He has a professional background in international trade, having gained comprehensive work experience in Hong Kong. His main research interest lies in North East Asia and the international political and security dynamics in the region.
