Philip Chennery

Philip Chennery holds a Diplomacy and International Relations Master’s degree from SOAS University of London. He is one of UNODA’s 30 #leaders4tomorrow through which he expands the role of young people in advancing non-proliferation, peace and security through multinational forums.  Philip was also the winner of the 2021 Korea Times-APLN Essay Contest on the theme of Youth, Disarmament, and Peace in the Asia-Pacific Region.

His research interests include trade and investment trends between the EU and Northeast Asia, principally with relation to the evolving security issues and strategic aims of today. This includes analysing investment priorities and technology partnerships during a time of energy and resource security concerns.
