Eva Eapen is a Junior Researcher pursuing undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally from Bangalore, India, she has lived in the United States for almost a decade, now residing in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is currently participating in an exchange program in Brussels at the Free University of Brussels (VUB).
Her research interests at EIAS focus primarily on trade and security, with a particular interest in EU-South Asia relations. She is especially interested in how international institutions and diplomatic ties can shape long-term regional resilience and cooperation between the EU and (South) Asia.
