PAST EVENT: The EU and Pakistan – Why Do They Matter To Each Other?
The European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) and the European External Action Service had the pleasure of organising an in-person Briefing Seminar on “The EU and Pakistan – Why Do They Matter To Each Other?” For the second time EIAS organised a discussion featuring presentations by senior journalists from Pakistan on a study visit to Brussels. Their interventions were complemented by views from Ms Deren Derya, Head of Division at the European External Action Service and Brussels-based commentator and Visiting Professor at the College of Europe (Natolin), Ms Shada Islam. The Briefing Seminar took place at EIAS (Rue de la Loi 26, 10th floor, B-1040 Brussels – Belgium) on Thursday, 26th September 2024 from 15:30 to 17:00 and was followed by a networking reception.
